TeeLinkUp launches a social platform where golfers find playing partners, discover courses and plan golf trips
August 18, 2026 — Connecticut, USA
TeeLinkUp today opened public access to its social platform for golfers, built around a single idea: the hardest part of playing golf is not booking the tee time, it is finding people to play with. Members post an open round at a real course, nearby golfers request to join, and the host approves the group before anyone shows up.
The platform launches with a structured golf course directory covering 478 courses across 324 cities and 36 U.S. states, each with its own page, location data and a view of which TeeLinkUp golfers play there. The directory is fully public — no account is required to browse it — and doubles as the platform's front door for golfers searching for a course near them.
Alongside the domestic directory, TeeLinkUp ships a golf travel layer of 78 destinations, 28 countries, 71 resorts and 30 stay & play packages, connected to a social feature that shows travellers which other golfers have flagged interest in the same trip. Resorts, courses and travel operators can claim their profile and reach those golfers directly.
Trust is designed into the product rather than added later. Accounts require a real photo and a completed profile, pass through a verification review, and every request to join a round must be approved by the host. Public community rules and terms set expectations, and violations are grounds for removal.
TeeLinkUp ships as an installable progressive web app rather than a native app-store download, so a course page shared in a group chat opens instantly on any phone and the same URL serves golfers, search engines and AI assistants.
TeeLinkUp is free to join at teelinkup.com.
