Winter is peak season on the mainland south coast, and the Canaries stay warm enough for golf all year. Course styles vary from mountain layouts with big elevation change to flatter resort courses that suit higher handicaps. Buggies are standard and often required. Because there are so many courses, it is worth matching the itinerary to the group rather than chasing only the highest profile names.
