Golf in Mexico

Mexico is the closest big resort golf market for travellers from the United States and Canada, and the standard at the top end is high. Los Cabos on the Baja peninsula is the densest cluster, with desert meets ocean layouts and a long dry season. On the Pacific mainland, Riviera Nayarit near Puerto Vallarta pairs oceanfront golf with full service resorts, while the Caribbean coast around Cancun and the Riviera Maya offers jungle and lagoon courses close to large hotel inventory. Most courses are resort or semi private and expect buggies. Winter and early spring are peak, summer is hot and humid on both coasts, and hurricane season should be factored into late summer and early autumn bookings.
