Ireland pairs some of the most photographed coastal links in the game with parkland resorts that suit mixed ability groups. Distances look small on a map but roads are slow, so most trips work best with two or three bases rather than a new hotel every night. Visitor access is generally straightforward outside club competition days, and many courses expect walking golf with a caddie available.
