Championship Golf Destinations
Destinations that have hosted, or hold courses that have hosted, major championships and top level professional events.
A destination appears here when courses inside it have hosted major championships or elite professional events. The label is about tournament history, not marketing. These destinations tend to require earlier booking, especially in the weeks either side of a scheduled event, and green fees are usually at the top of the local range. If you want the same region without the tournament premium, each destination page lists nearby courses and resorts that play to a similar standard.
