Anchorage Golf Course sits on the hillside above Alaska's largest city with panoramic views of the Chugach Range, Cook Inlet, and on clear days Denali more than a hundred and thirty miles north. The par-72 layout plays through birch and spruce on sloping terrain, with elevated tees, doglegs shaped by the hillside, and greens that break strongly toward the inlet. Long summer daylight allows tee times well into the evening, and moose on the fairways are a routine occurrence. It is fully public with a driving range, rentals, and a clubhouse restaurant, operating from roughly May through September depending on snowmelt.
