Opened in 2006 and designed by Michael Hurdzan, Dana Fry and Ron Whitten, Erin Hills hosted the 2011 U.S. Amateur and the 2017 U.S. Open won by Brooks Koepka. Par 72 and stretching past 7,700 yards from the tips, it is a walking-only links-style course set on glacially formed terrain with native fescue and rolling, open fairways. It operates as a daily-fee course welcoming outside play.
