Designed by A.W. Tillinghast and opened in 1919, Cedar Crest is a Dallas municipal course that hosted the 1927 PGA Championship, won by Walter Hagen. Set on rolling ground south of downtown, the par-71 layout retains much of its Golden Age routing and small green complexes. Operated by the City of Dallas, it is open to the public at municipal rates.
