Designed by Donald Ross in 1919 with later Jack Nicklaus and Andy North updates, Inverness has hosted four U.S. Opens (1920, 1931, 1957, 1979), two PGA Championships and a U.S. Senior Open. Par 71 at around 7,255 yards, the parkland layout features tree-lined fairways and classic Ross green complexes. It remains a private club, seen publicly mainly during championship weeks.
