Bully Pulpit Golf Course sits in the North Dakota Badlands outside Medora, adjacent to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The Michael Hurdzan design opens across gentler grassland before holes 14 through 16 drop into a stretch of eroded buttes and clay canyons that rank among the most photographed inland holes in the United States. Fairways are generous, but forced carries over ravines and severe elevation change make club selection difficult, and afternoon prairie wind adds another layer. The par-72 course is public, walkable in cooler months, and busiest in summer when Medora's tourist season peaks. Green fees include cart, and tee times are recommended well ahead in July and August.
