The Mount Washington Course at Bretton Woods is a Donald Ross design from 1915 sitting directly beneath the Presidential Range in northern New Hampshire. The par-71 resort layout plays across open meadow land along the Ammonoosuc River, with wide fairways, bunkering set well off the fairway lines, and Ross greens that shed shots toward collection areas. Wind funneling through Crawford Notch is a real factor on the exposed back nine. The course is walkable, scenic, and forgiving enough for mid-handicap resort guests while still demanding good distance control into elevated greens. Open to the public and resort guests from late spring into October, with tee times bookable through the Omni Mount Washington Resort.
