Designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 1990 for Steve Wynn, Shadow Creek transformed flat Nevada desert into a wooded, water-filled par-72 layout with thousands of transplanted mature trees. It has hosted televised exhibitions including The Match and the 2020 CJ Cup. Now operated by MGM Resorts, access is generally limited to guests of MGM properties booking through the resort, with caddies included.
