Designed by Jerry Pate and Bob Cupp and opened in 1988, Old Waverly hosted the 1999 U.S. Women's Open won by Juli Inkster. Par 72 at roughly 7,000 yards, the course features bermuda fairways, azalea and dogwood plantings and lakes throughout rolling Mississippi countryside. It operates as a private club within a residential community, with access generally limited to members, guests and lodge stays.
