Opened in 2000 north of Indianapolis, Purgatory is known for its 100-plus bunkers and enormous length, stretching beyond 7,700 yards from the back tees at par 72. Seven sets of tees make it playable for every handicap, and the fescue-framed fairways give it an open, links-inspired character. It is a daily-fee public course, regularly ranked among Indiana's best, and is open to all golfers.
