The Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort occupies one of the highest points in southern Indiana, with a ridge-top routing that offers views claimed to reach forty miles. The par-72 layout stretches beyond 8,100 yards from the championship tees, using volcano bunkers, steep fall-offs, and enormous undulating greens rather than water to defend par. Wind at elevation is a constant factor, and the firm fescue-framed fairways make angle of approach critical. The course has hosted the Senior PGA Championship and LPGA events. It is resort-public with caddies, a comprehensive practice facility, and stay-and-play packages through the historic French Lick and West Baden Springs hotels.
